The following describes the Linguistic Disclaimer for our Unbounded Academy website.

None of our words on this site should be taken as claiming that our way of talking and writing about the problems and deep structural issues of people, organizations and the planet is the only way, or even the best way. We employ and recommend concepts of “unbounded” “moral and ethical realism,” “peace by peaceful means”, concientization, organizational awareness, and others. We find them illuminating and we recommend them. However, we realize that for many they are unfamiliar. Many have their own good reasons for preferring mental models and vocabularies different from ours. Our objective is dignified dialogue. Given that the objects of scientific study are independent of the vocabularies and theories of the scientists who study them, nobody´s way of talking and thinking can claim to be reality´s only authorized spokesperson. (This remark about the independence of the object of study from the vocabulary of the researcher applies to social institutions, as in Durkheim´s social facts, as well as to nature.) We know that many people around the world are doing good work promoting the common good of humanity and the planet. We want to encourage them and network with them although it will often be the case that their way of talking and thinking differs from our own
